Spacious and bright, overlooking the royal river, the Prieuré restaurant offers a breathtaking view over the Loire and its valley.
Large bay windows, wood panelling, wall hangings and old stones, relics of the original 12 th century priory, make up the décor.

Chef : Benoît Tessier

Passionate about cooking, Benoît Tessier is a simply 'gastronomic creator'. Whilst passing through several very well known establishments he has acquired the professional rigour which associates that of a job well done and total guest satisfaction. He does not forget his new region of adoption, the Loire Valley, where he takes immense pleasure in seeking out authentic regional produce which he accords almost musically with the accents of elsewhere. We discover thus, his "scallops on vegetables and fruit with Oriental spiced caramel" or" "free range chicken with lemon thyme and seasonal vegetables" and finally for a dessert, chocolate zabaglione, stewed mango and pineapple and exotic fruit water ice where strength and gentleness rival each other through crispy and soft centred textures
